UX / IA / UI design + proposal writing

As a consultant I contributed to a proposal to tender for a complete website redesign and migration to WordPress for Ofwat (The UK Government water regulator). A complete site audit, IA, and UX analysis was done, as well as a draft UI design.

UI design + brand creation

New site for the New Republic on the theme of Climate denial. The New Republic magazine, based in New York, wanted a new site to highlight the climate debate that is raging in the United States, related to the current election coming up in November. I created the brand, and the site design, and was built in WordPress by Human Made.

UI design and brand refresh

Newton investments is a financial business located in London with over £55 Billion pounds under management. They wanted a redesign of their current website, and a concurrent move to WordPress. Site was built by Human Made.

Senior web designer / developer at bet365  (4.5 years)

Designed multiple User Interfaces web pages for bet365 – the world’s largest  sports betting and gambling website: Poker downloadable client interface; Casino Client interface; Redesigned ‘Members’ area (financial and betting history section) of main website; Designed iPhone/Smartphone “Members” and Help areas; Redesigned Bingo section of website; Built responsive CSS3/HTML5 Games web app for tablets and phones using Jquery, Modernizr, iScroll, and bespoke JavaScript libraries; Designed new sports betting news website; Re-wrote php file management script for in-house design viewing of web pages.

UI designer & developer (6 years)

Designed and built front end of new Business-to-Business energy website; Created wireframes, and flow charts; Met with external suppliers; Designed and built html emails for MailChimp; Prototyped new designs for E.ON UK’s website; Comprehensive SEO analysis; Created semantic layout schema for migration of site; Technologies used were C# .NET, HTML/CSS JavaScript, Ajax, Flash.

UI design / HTML / SASS / JavaScript / WordPress

UI Design and Front end Coding for aleteia.org (launched 1 September 2015). Designed all page templates; coded front end in WordPress using SASS and JavaScript; coded for right-to-left language (Arabic). Site built with Human Made team. Worked alongside and with remote developers using GIT, BaseCamp, Slack and Sype.

UX / UI designer/ Experian

Designed and built websites for car dealers; Interfaced with customers to develop custom designs for their websites. Designs were mocked up as visuals for customer approval, then hand coded using  Experian’s bespoke XSL libraries. Created a library of website templates for future use. Also did custom code edits to existing XSL sites for support and maintenance.
